Job Summary
The Marketing Proposal Specialist is responsible for supporting the Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) marketing workgroup by developing and compiling a repository of standard and ad-hoc requests for all customer facing business proposal responses. He/She integrates marketing data, relevant UPS product and service, and proposal information from multiple sources, and for multiple HCLS groups, to produce customer facing proposal that support the marketing of UPS products and services for the sales team to use in customer responses for winning new business for UPS.
This position collects customer proposal requests from the sales team, helps develop proposal responses by providing relevant and approved content, and builds a repository of customer facing sales proposals, and draws conclusions based on insights learned to present to the team and management.
The Marketing Proposal Specialist runs queries on data from UPS proprietary data sources (e.g., volume & revenue data, web statistics, etc.) for summarization in standard reports. He/She obtains information from different HCLS groups as needed to build customer proposals, and to facilitate analysis and reporting.
The Marketing Proposal Specialist builds customer proposal responses and reports to efficiently and effectively summarize information, trends, and analyses using graphs, charts, and text. He/She presents report findings internally to keep workgroups informed and up-to-date.
Job Responsibilities

Gathers information required to respond to customer request for proposal (RFP) and standard proposals

Works cross-functionally (e.g., Healthcare Logistics & Distribution, Quality, Compliance, Legal, Communications, Pricing, and other UPS regions, etc.) to gain access to atypical data sources

Assists analysts in analyzing and interpreting information to respond to ad-hoc requests

Summarizes and communicates proposal, results and implications to initiators of requests

Documents reporting processes to facilitate development of standard reports

Documents queries used to build reports to ensure replicability

Continually builds the repository of proposal content and updates regularly

Interacts with information and data providers regarding source data to ensure quality and efficiency of processing

Uses distribution lists provided by manager to ensure reports are shared with appropriate audiences

Distributes reports to communicate information to stakeholders

Presents report findings internally to keep workgroups informed and up-to-date

Obtains customer behavior data from external data sources as needed to facilitate analysis and reporting

Reviews multiple data sources to validate accuracy of data included in reports

Performs data cleansing and transformation to facilitate analysis and reporting

Compiles and updates information in standard reports for timely distribution to stakeholders

Follows up on ad-hoc requests when necessary to identify specific information needed
Job Requirements

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Statistics or any related field of study.

Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity in Healthcare or Logistics & Supply Chain industry.

Prior knowledge of digital media/marketing analytics practices is preferable

Require demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Programs (MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Access).

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and able to work well with people of all levels.

Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skill which includes conducting presentation to the top management.
