Duties and responsibilities
Ensure safety is the number one priority in Demand Planning, ensuring that all staff and visitors adhere strictly to Jotun and company safety procedures, 5S standards and guidelines, providing required HSEQ feedback on a monthly basis.
Lead the Demand Planning function by planning and coordinating the department’s daily and weekly activities to ensure an efficient operation within budget.
Manage the factory production planning processes, communicating daily/weekly plans with factory managers and supervisors
Liaise with the Supply/Inventory department and Production units to maximize stock availability and ensure orders are delivered On Time in Full to support the company OTIF performance.
Lead the weekly and monthly Demand planning meetings with Sales/Marketing/Purchasing/CSD
Support and motivate the DP team through clear direction, communication, training and development, assessment and regular feedback.
Ensure that all Company planning procedures are followed and we provide an outstanding service to our customers.
Support the DP’s to ensure that all production demand plans are processed in accordance to Local and Group standards and that all delivery documents are managed as per policy.
Qualifications
Academic degree (Bachelor and /or Master’s degree).
4-6 years of relevant experience
Good command of verbal and written English and Arabic languages
Lean manufacturing principles
Awareness of Demand Planning operations .
