- Build and develop relationships with external partners such as clients, membership organisations and media bodies to position our brand and thought leadership in the region. Manage and update the Unit’s calendar of events.
- Work closely with the Regional Communications and Director to ensure delivery of region wide campaigns ensuring maximised impact and return on investment.
- Support the Regional Communications and Director manager in issuing press releases, including sourcing images, quotes and approvals. Review interviews and articles before issued.
- Support the Regional Communications and Marketing Director in engaging thought leaders to contribute to internal and external discussions via conferences and campaigns, newsletters and press releases. Communicate project wins, news and milestones internally and externally
- Create and deliver digital marketing plans aligned to campaigns and manage the Unit’s social media presence and website pages.
- Look after and execute events, negotiate contracts and sponsorships, issue invitations, manage speakers, create marketing plans and work with vendors and suppliers before, during and after events.
- Maintain and possess responsibility for brand management and corporate identity for the Unit. Oversee the production of branded items and marketing collaterals.
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget and managed expenses
- Oversee the day-to-day Middle East internal communications requirements, e.g. announcements, news, updates, events, awards etc ensuring they are timely, high quality and engage staff. Manage the internal portal and support in internal events.
Candidate Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any similar discipline
- Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience within marketing management
- Experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Delivery of multi-channel campaigns for example, social media and events
- Marketing budgets
- PR events and external partnerships
- Various marketing channels including social media
- Hands-on experience of different design software for example, Adobe PhotoShop, LightRoom etc.
